I know how useful it is to be able to find the test dates quickly, so here’s the link! If I’m honest, this is partly here so I can find them quickly! 🙂
Quick guide to the test dates
- The ACT is administered 6 times each year – September, October, December, February, April and June. The February date is not available in New York.
- If you’re a senior (Grade 12), generally the last time you can write the test and submit your score in time is the October date.
- If you write in December, April or June, you can get your full test paper and answers back by sending off this form to the ACT. You can do this during the registration process, in which case you won’t need this form. You can also send this form off up to 3 months after the test date. The cost is $20USD, but I would highly recommend this – you get so much feedback on what you did wrong and why. This makes these dates also good for your first time writing
- There are two registration deadlines – early and late. You have to pay a higher fee for late registration. This generally closes about 2-3 weeks before the test date. International deadlines are different from those in the US, Canada and US Territories
- Fees can be found here.
